一封支持伦敦申办欧洲胸外科学术大会的支持信

Coonar教授是英国剑桥大学Papworth医院胸外科主任，英国皇家医学院导师、英国剑桥大学高级临床导师、英国皇家医学会胸心外科分会主任委员。coonar教授即将于今年10月22日受我院邀请来大连讲学。近日，coonar教授正在率领全英国申请团队申办2019年欧洲胸外科学会（ESTS）学术大会首次在伦敦召开，此前该会议从未离开欧洲。为此，除了在英国本土做一些申办准备以外，coonar教授希望得到来自世界各地的支持，目前已经收到来自美洲加拿大多伦多的支持信，本支持信将代表来自亚洲中国的一名同道医生。如下：

A letter of support London to host the ESTS

        It is my pleasure to enclose my statement of support the conference of ESTS which will be held in London.

        I am a consultant thoracic surgeon from Dalian CHINA, and employed in a local special thoracic hospital. I have been to Papworth hospital Cambridge as an observer. During the observation, I joined the MDT of lung cancer, visited Addenbrook's hospital in Cambridge, also participated the session of RAM in London....... More and more Chinese visitors recognize the whole world from UK. So I support London to be the host city of ESTS 2019.

      London is a well-known city all over the world and an irreplaceable international centre of education, healthcare, finance and economic. Wonderfully, she has a diverse connection of culture and people.

      London is a secure and comfortable city which is filled with smile and friendship all the time.

      There is also convenient and fast speedy transportation in London. Five airports lead to anywhere accross the world in addition to the local underground, all directions extending highways and railway. 

      So, I justifiable believe that London is capable of being the host city of ESTS 2019.
